tmsuk and PUES Sign Non-Exclusive Licensing
Agreement for “RODEM” Smart Mobility Platform

Kyoto, Japan – May 21, 2026 – PUES Corporation and tmsuk Co., Ltd. announced that they have entered into a non-exclusive licensing agreement regarding the next-generation personal mobility platform “RODEM”
Under this agreement, tmsuk will provide RODEM-related technologies and intellectual property, while PUES will lead development, manufacturing and commercialization activities for new mobility applications.
The collaboration aims to accelerate the real-world development of compact electric mobility solutions
designed to support inclusive transportation needs in aging societies and urban environments.
RODEM is a uniquely designed smart mobility platform originally developed by tmsuk over many years. Featuring rear-entry boarding and an adjustable seat-height mechanism. RODEM enables users to transfer smoothly from beds, chairs, or wheelchairs while maintaining eye-level communication in public spaces.
The platform has already been introduced in practical mobility services in the Yaesu district of Tokyo since 2023 and has been showcased through demonstrations, public events, and field trials.

By combining tmsuk’s robotics and mobility technologies with PUES’s extensive expertise in electric vehicle
engineering and manufacturing, both companies aim to expand the possibilities of compact mobility in various
real-world scenarios.
Future initiatives may include:
・Last-mile mobility solutions for tourism areas and urban environments
・Collaboration with autonomous mobility systems
・Smart transportation for aging populations
・Mobility solutions for narrow streets and pedestrian-friendly districts
・New human-centered mobility experiences in smart cities
The companies will also explore potential collaboration between compact personal mobility systems such as
RODEM and autonomous mobility platforms developed by PUES to help create seamless transportation ecosystems.

RODEM-related intellectual property has already been secured in multiple international regions, including Europe.
